Registration & Fees

Registration for the Fall Semester is only $30!
OR Register for the whole year for just $55

(MOPS International Membership is $23.95 so $6.05 goes into the general SHBC MOPS fund to be used towards childcare.)


What do you get for $30?

MOPS International Membership which includes the following: 

  • "The Mommy Diaries" Book, which we will utilize in our Discussion Groups this year. 
  • Bi-monthly subscription to MOMSense Magazine, full of mothering expertise, parenting tips and fun things to do with your pre-schoolers!
  • MOM Email: Words of encouragement to start off the week right.
  • Membership Card: Special Members Only discounts on MOPS products, events and sponsored items.

    A great meeting of local MOPS Moms which includes a time for food and fellowship as well as a special guest speaker.  Twice a year we have a fun craft time (a small craft fee applies) instead of a speaker.  Also twice a year we eat brunch (dutch treat) out with our discussion groups.

Shearer Hills Baptist Church believes that MOPS is such an important ministry that they underwrite the bulk of the expenses for our meetings which includes childcare. We do not charge our MOPS Moms full-price for childcare.  In addition to the generous donation from our host church, we off-set our childcare costs by holding several fundraisers throughout the year.

Registration is required in order to ensure there is space available for your child and to maintain a safe environment for all the children in our MOPPETS program.

Scholarships are available! No preschool mother will be excluded from a MOPS meeting on the basis of financial need, race or marital status.

You are more than welcome to come to MOPS to visit before you register but please make other childcare arrangements for that day. Just contact us and let us know you are coming for a visit.

How to Register

Registration is OPEN NOW and ON-GOING!!

We'd love to meet you!

Please call ahead of time so we can make sure your MOPPETS will have
a place in our childcare program. We are very careful to maintain worker-to-
child ratios to ensure your child's safety. You will need to call CJ Black at
545-2175 for reservations. In the unfortunate event that our childcare is full,
you will be put on a waiting list. You are still more than welcome to come to
our meetings as long as you make other childcare arrangements. We will make
every effort to accomodate you and get you off the waiting list as soon as
possible.

After you have made childcare reservations,
please print and complete the
MOPS Registration Form and
MOPPETS Registration Form
and either mail it to the church office:

OR
bring them with you, along with $30
(checks should be made payable to Shearer Hills Baptist Church)
to the first meeting.

Don't worry if you forget your forms - we always have extras at every meeting.
